Three unhurried days in Changwon, a port city on the south coast where old Masan alleys, a shipyard-town bay and a planned new downtown sit side by side. The route is built around regional noodles, retro neighbourhood shops and seaside cafes, with each day kept inside one part of the city so you spend your time eating and walking rather than commuting.

Changwon is a south-coast city that most visitors skip on the way to Busan, which is exactly why it rewards three slow days. It is really several towns joined together — the old port of Masan, the naval town of Jinhae, and a planned modern downtown — and this route treats each of them as its own day so you are never crossing the whole city twice. The through-line is food: regional cold noodles, neighbourhood restaurants that close early because they cook for locals, and a run of independent cafes and retro shops.
Changwon has no subway. City buses cover the downtown grid well and a T-money or Cashbee card works on all of them, but the distances between Masan, Jinhae and Uichang-gu are real — think tens of kilometres, not a few stops. Day 2 in particular runs along the bay from west to east and is much easier by car or taxi than by bus. Each day here is deliberately kept inside one district so that only the transfers between days are long.
